Key strengths and experience

Mr Kwok has over two decades of hospitality and real estate experience as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, as well as board and committee experience for other listed entities. Mr Kwok’s prior experience was in accounting, investment banking, and corporate and financial management. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse London in 1983, he had over 10 years of investment banking experience with Barclays de Zoete Wedd in London and Schroders Asia in Hong Kong, where he was appointed as Head of Corporate Finance in 1991. Mr Kwok then served as Finance Director of the MTR Corporation from 1996 to 2002. On 31 October 2024, Mr Kwok stepped down as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company but will remain on the Board as an Executive Director and Advisor to the CEO until the conclusion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting on 7 May 2025.
